All ball and roller bearings. Turn collar for selection, hammer/drill or drill only. Gear shift lever. For percussion carbide-bit drilling in concrete, masonry and drilling without hammering in wood or metal. Removable brush cartridge system. Extra brushes stored in cartridge system. Self-stopping brushes. Storage for extra carbons, brush holder screw. Heavy-duty industrial chuck.STANDARD EQUIPMENT: 8' 3-wire Quik-Lok cord, depth gauge, adjustable side handle, chuck key with holder, steel carrying case and percussion bit set (No. 48-20-6164).

I bought this drill when I needed to complete a job that called for installing about 150 "redhead" concrete anchors in both sidewalk and block wall. I didn't run it the whole time, but a younger assistant ran it HARD. It never heated up more than it should have. It has the torque and hammer action to handle anything I could expect. Excellent as a moderate-use hammer drill; outstanding in standard drill mode.
