If you want to convert your circular saw to a metal cutting machine, you won't end up with the ideal tool for that purpose. But if it's an occasional need, give this blade a try. It does a good job of clean cuts on ferrous materials. I haven't tried it on anything truly heavy but so far it works as I might expect. You can also use it on metal framed items, but it's a compromise. You don't want to chew up a wood blade on a metal framed wooden item, nor would you want to continue cutting wood with this blade, but I've tried the more cautious approach of using both types with the depth set appropriately for each.
Please look at the pictures to see this toothless blade, and make sure not to confuse it with other (wood) blades in the Endurance line. If the description of the blade is for the entire blade line, keep in mind that whatever it says about wood blades or teeth does not apply here. Make sure when you read reviews that the reviewer had the correct blade and is reviewing the metal cutting blade for its intended task.
