There are products that I have ordered and the packaging is just not suitable for shipping this is not the case with this stand. Milwaukee has done a good job with their packaging.
With that said I received the product in perfect shape. The assembly is really minimum I relied more on the picture on the front of the manual than the instruction manual itself. I have an older model Makxxx 10" slider attached to this stand and the stand is perfectly stable in comparison to the same style Ryxxx stand that the saw was originally mounted to. The Ryxxx stand is not designed for bigger saws or sliders. This Milwaukee stand is made of all steel no aluminum to be found anywhere which contributes to the weight. The wheels that are on the stand are really not practical for rolling the stand with the saw still mounted to it as shown in the manual. The wheels really come in handy when its folded up and I need to roll it in and out of a sport utility. In my opinion a well built stand for the money.
