I bought this product to complement a cordless reciprocating saw and circular saw that I owned (bought from craigslist with one battery for ridiculously cheap). The other tools were ni-cad and I wondered if the new Li-Ion batteris would be compatible, and thankfully they were! The new Li-Ion batties last much longer than their Ni-cad equivalents, they turn the recip and circular saws in unseful tools rather than me spending all my time changing out batteries. The hammer-drill and impact gun are really great tools. The drill has the torque to do things I wouldent have attempted without a corded drill in the past, and having an impact gun has made driving lags and losing old nuts a much easier job! These tools had a little bit of dirt on them when I got them (which wiped right off) but otherwise look and perform like new, all for $200! Well worth it for a great cordless set that is compatible to the old Ni-cad line!
