My dad bought this drill YEARS ago to replace his Milwaukee 9.6 because it was getting hard to find batteries. It's still going, through countless job sites, in the hands of careless workers, countless projects around the house, it's even been exposed to water by accident. It works amazingly well, batteries last long and hold their charge for a long time. Even after years of use and abuse if it weren't for the scuffs on the casing you'd never know it was old. I highly recommend this tool and any others by Milwaukee.
This drill completely replaced a plug-in black and decker, the 9.6 and it a pretty good competitor to the HILTI TE-5 for basic masonry work.
