This saw is awesome! ! It seems to have more power than a regular 18V, but the best thing is the lithium ion battery with the "fuel gauge" right on the battery that lets you know how much charge is left in the battery.
This saw had more than enough power for what I use it for (small trees, branches, 2x4s with and without nails, wood fence demo, etc.), and the Milwaukee name gives me a feeling of quality. I highly recommend this saw not just because it's a workhorse, it also looks cool!
